DESCRIPTION:
G.M. Smith, London, verge fusee pocket watch, key wind and set, gilt full plate movement with pierced and engraved balance cock in a sterling silver, open face pair case with London hallmark and date letter for the year 1794, the case back with engraved monogram, and containing the watch paper of Charles Tinges of Baltimore, Arabic numeral, white enamel dial, nicely finished gold hands, serial #6473, 54mm, with gilt chain and shagreen tag attached to bow.

CASE: Minor dents, back; Minor scratches on outer surface of case; Scratches on inner case; Catch button worn through; Crystal with scratches; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Some fine scratches, otherwise very good. HANDS: Very good. MOVEMENT PLATES: Fine scratches on plate; Some steel with minor oxide; Specks of dirt / dust. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) .
